Sun Pacific Solar Company

Sun Pacific Solar Electric, Inc. (SPSE) is a family owned Santa Barbara Company.

SPSE designs and installs high quality photovoltaic systems taking into account your energy needs, solar access, the architecture of the building, building codes and guidelines. We take care of all permitting and rebate paperwork. SPSE has installed over 600 KW of solar energy systems in the tri-county area. Our goal is to build the best solar energy systems with sustainability, integrity and honesty. We love to educate and equip our community with the knowledge to make informed choices regarding energy efficiency and production.

We practice sustainable business through our utilization of local vendors and subcontractors promoting community wide support. We operate our business with minimal environmental impact. Our office at 809-B Bond Avenue is one of Santa Barbara's first green office buildings. It was constructed in 2002 and includes a solar array that offsets the majority of our energy consumption. We also have a solar thermal water system. The building is constructed mostly of recycled building materials.

We are members of and/or support the following organizations: BBB with an A+ rating, Santa Barbara Contractors' Association, Green Building Alliance, American Solar Energy Society and the Santa Barbara Farm Bureau.

Management

Jay Johnson — President, Jay has over 35 years experience in the electrical trade, and carries the C-10 electrical contractors license. He has been designing and installing solar systems since 1996.

Cecilia Villaseór Johnson — Vice President, General Manager, She oversees Business Development, Public Relations and the day to day running of the Company.

Field Superintendent

Robert Proctor — Nic has over 33 years as a licensed journeyman electrician. He held a C-10 license for 10 years while running his own electrical business. He has supervised more than 65 of our installations and ensures the quality and high standard we strive for. Nic is certified through SunPower Corporation as a Master Residential Installer, Commercial Associate Level Design, and Installer.

Connor Nakao — Connor has been working with us for 2 years. He brought with him 2 years of solar installation experience. He has been enrolled in the Electrical Apprenticeship program at Santa Barbara City College for over a year. He has completed SunPower Corporation Advanced Level Installation Training and is a 4th Term Electrical

Apprentice

Kyle Ward — Kyle has been with the company for 1+ year. He has a background as a machinist and fabricator. He is competent in all aspects of the solar installation, and has been enrolled in the Electrical Apprenticeship program at Santa Barbara City College for over a year. He has completed SunPower Corporation Advance Level Installation Training and 2nd Term Electrical Apprentice.
